Reflection

As the holiday season is in full force, and the current year is preparing to come to a close, Yvette takes a few moments of quite reflection in her chambers. My how her life has changed since Bash came into her life.

She enjoys her time within the Guardian realm. She loves her work, and she has enjoyed getting to know the other members of the team. Working behind the scenes suits her. She was never one to feed off the adrenalin rush finding herself in dangerous situation produced.

She much prefers the sense of safety she now enjoys in the realm. The past few weeks have however found her feeling a bit unsettled for a different reason than safety. She misses Bash. He's been away on a mission for quite a while now, with little to no word of his return. She finds herself seeking him out, just to talk about her day, or his day, then realizing he is unavailable at present. She misses his witty banter. She misses his caring nature. She misses his woodsy citrus scent that always seems to put her at ease.

Yvette realizes Bash has feelings for her. She has tried however to keep their relationship purely platonic and put him firmly in the "Brother/Friend" box, however the feelings she has been having recently are far from "brotherly". She realizes she has grown to care for him deeply. As her thoughts travel to what the new year will bring, she wonders if she needs to explore those feelings and talk to Bash, upon his return. Yvette has never really met a man that made her think of "forever" before, especially since being turned immortal, as forever is a very long time. Forever, she is also coming to realize, without someone by your side to share your hopes and dreams with, can also be very lonely.

Sully

Sully was born human in Barbados and lived his early life working in the pirating trade in the late 17th/early 18th century. As a teen, he saved the life of the grandson of one of the most infamous pirates at the time. This act brought him into the "family" business where he learned watching and listening were two very valuable traits to have.  Being light on his feet and very adapt with a sword didn't hurt either. Sully was also very good at blending in when needed.

The above mentioned skill sets brought Sully to the attention of the Guardian force and he was recruited to be a watcher/informant.

Within the past few decades, Sully has also been used on the occasional mission, when his skill set would be beneficial.

Zak has been his handler. More to come as I figure out more of where he fits into the storyline.
