Evianna

Evianna is considered "cold" by most who know her. She was turned to Guardian so long ago she barely remembers her life prior. ………….although the loss of her twin stays with her continually. Part of the reason she agreed to turn Guardian was she had hoped for better access to find out what really happened with her twin and rescue him. She speaks of him to no one though.
After all of these years, her attempts have all been unsuccessful. Her skill set includes being able to read and influence human emotion. Ironic, considering she is considered to have no emotion by most of those she works with.
Evianna has also studied the erotic arts and has no trouble playing the courtesan, or using sex to influence those that she may need to.
While she has no close ties to those she works with, she and Vlad do have a bit of an "understanding" and pair together as partners when a person of the opposite sex is needed to play the spouse or significant other. Neither one wants emotional ties, so their arrangement is mutually beneficial in many ways.

Yvette

A couple of new girls arrived this week...…………….this one is a head that will be sharing my EID PG body. Yvonne by SartoriaJ painted by Lyn Raftis. I wasn't really tempted by the head when SartoriaJ put it up FS on their website, but after seeing her painted by Lyn I love her.

I've been playing with her since her arrival yesterday trying to figure her out. I believe was a human time traveler born in the 20th century, who found herself transported back to the 18th century through a "spelled" mirror in her studio.
Always interested in fashion, she was a fashion designer, and a bit of a history buff as well in her 20th century life. She was able to use her fashion knowledge and skill to find employment as a seamstress/dressmaker in her new surroundings.
She met Bash, who quickly recognized her for what she was and vowed to help her. Their relationship is still unclear...……….trying to figure it all out, but I do like them together, and look forward to figuring out more of their story.

Mencheres

Mencheres constantly walks a fine line between light and dark. He was born human and was originally turned immortal by the dark side.  He was finally turned to the side of light on a mission that resulted in his human wife's peril................or at least that is what Mencheres thinks.
SO even though he is working with the Guardians now, being a master strategist, who has first hand experience with the dark side, he is mostly used behind the scenes and rarely goes out on missions.
He owes Wulf his soul, however he still struggles with his need for vengeance against those he feels stole his choices and his wife from him. He is very closely monitored, and is rarely ever sent to the human realm. On the rare occasion his particular services are needed he is accompanied by Wulf, as Wulf is the only one that has a chance of talking him down if his dark side bubbles too close to the surface. He is aware Mina is in love with him...………..however he has nothing left in his heart to give to another woman, or so is his belief.  He cares for her, as much as he can...……….but is not interested in a relationship with another woman. The scars from losing his wife are still too raw, even after all this time.

Blaine/Blayre

Blaine, who also goes by Blayre on occasion, depending on the assignment, is not one to sit along the sidelines and let the action pass her by...…………………..she doesn't do the "damsel in distress" well. She would much rather be in the middle of the action. She has had extensive training in a variety of weaponry, and is not afraid to put the training to good use if needed.
Over the years, she has most often  been paired with Blake on assignment, as their familial "looks" made them a good brother/sister duo. She truly misses Blake, even though she wishes him well. He understood her like no other and never tried to hold her back, or force her into the traditional woman's role. He understood she could well take care of herself and let her do it when called for. She doesn't understand how he could leave the job behind, and live as a human, all for the love of a mortal woman? She doesn't  intend to get "close" enough to a human to ever find herself in that predicament.
She likes her life as a Guardian. She does have a bit of temper, but when provoked it is usually at some injustice done to one not strong enough to combat the injustice themselves.
Blaine was created as a Guardian and has been at the job a very long time...………..however she does quite like modern conveniences, and now prefers assignments in a time with some creature comforts...………….

Vlad

Vlad keeps to himself for the most part...……...a natural born loner, he prefers his own company to most others.  He and Zak have the same dry, sense of humor, and Zak also has a high level of intelligence, so when he is forced to partner with another male in the field, it is typically Zak. Evianna typically poses as his wife if one is needed, although on rare occasions he and Liana have worked together in that capacity as well.
Many describe him as mysterious, and he likes it that way. He was born to the human race, but as a Druid, he had abilities most humans didn't. Recruited as a Guardian for his ability to totally put emotion aside and be as cold and calculating as needed in any given situation without crossing the line into unnecessary  cruelty, he has been a Guardian far longer than he was human. Vlad has a much higher than normal intelligence level. He doesn't like to fight, but can be deadly if the situation warrants it.
With his dark good looks, women are attracted and intrigued by him. He doesn't let them get too close. He doesn't believe in "true" love for himself.  His feeling is women are a weakness he doesn't need. He and Evianna have an understanding, they enjoy each other when the need arises, but there are no lasting ties. Each is free to pursue other "interests" at any time.
Languages come easy to him, and he adapts well into aristocratic settings. He doesn't do "common" well, so his talents are best used when an operative is needed within the upper echelons of society.

The Lovely Liana

Liana, my lovely Stella, by Lyn Raftis has never really gotten the attention she deserves here. She is a floating head that was originally bought to fill a role within the Black Dagger Brotherhood resin world. For whatever reason, I've just never played with her much in that role. Maybe because that character was never one of my favorites. I decided since I do like her in period wear as much as I do modern clothing, it might be a fun fit for her with the HG. I got her out this morning to take some new pics of her and her story started to unfold for me a bit.
Liana was not born a Guardian, she was born into a human aristocratic family. Her mother however, her father's second wife, perished in child birth. She was the apple of her father's eye, and her elder brother was very jealous of the affection their father lavished on her over the years, educating her, and allowing her privileges normally reserved for sons. Upon her father's untimely demise, when Liana was only 18, she was turned out of the family home by her brother, (half brother actually, he was born of her fathers first wife) who disregarded their father's wishes entirely in regard to Liana's welfare.  If her father had not been so forward thinking, squirreling away money for her over the years, unbeknownst to her brother, (as her father didn't trust her brother would take care of her), she would have been penniless. She knew she had to invest the money wisely if she wanted it to last.
Her beauty had always been one of her greatest assets. Men (with the exception of her brother) were always trying to garner her attention. Along with her beauty, she also was gifted with an intelligent mind, and a caring nature. Because of her desire to help other women overcome their own unfortunate circumstances, she ended up starting one of the most successful "Houses of Assignation" in all of Europe.
It was at the height of her success that her own life became in danger, and she met Zak. Who was not at all what he seemed.

Mina

Jessica has always been one of my favorite female Iplehouse sculpts. I love her enough that I have 2 of her, one in white, who was my first Iple female,(she is in the Brotherhood world in the links on the side of the page) and Mina, who is light brown. I have had Mina a very long time, but have never really had a "defined" character for her, so decided she would be a nice fit into  this group, as she does period wear as well as she does modern looks.

Mina is a timeless beauty that has no trouble turning a mans head...…………....well, except for the one she would like to turn the most, Mencheres. Mencheres, unfortunately, only sees her as a good friend. See their character bios.
As for the other members of her team, Mina does consider Elspaith a close friend, and she respects Wulf quite a lot, but has no use for Evianna, and doesn't find she has much in common with Blaine. She gets along with Vlad as well as anyone does, he tends to keep most at a distance. Most times she prefers the company of men over women, (Elspaith excluded) as she really doesn't enjoy playing games and men are typically much more straight forward than women are. She very much values honesty in her relationships.
Her high value on honesty has put her in a bit of a dilemma, as it has been hinted from one of her sources, just recently, that Mencheres wife is not really dead, but was taken by the other side, revived and is being held in status, until which time they find it beneficial to use her to their best advantage. Mina however has not been able to gather any proof, so she has mentioned this speculation to no one on the force yet. She knows this is a secret she cannot keep and she will need help from the team to prove or disprove the claim. She fears what the news will do to Mencheres though. He struggles with his dark nature, and she fears this might push him past the breaking point.

Introduction to the HG

I've decided to do yet another blog, this time for the dolls inspired by my love for fashion. Since collaborating with my friend Robyn (Period Threads linked on the sidebar) on fashions for my Outlander dolls, and becoming good friends, her love of Period fashion has rubbed off on me quite a bit. Over the years I have become enamored of fashions from different eras that originally I had no real interest in. As I was looking at my group of dolls, some of them really didn't "fit" into any of my existing storylines. I started thinking, what if I gave them their own storyline as an elite group of time traveling immortals, moving through time to influence when needed on the side of good vs evil.  As time travelors, they could wear fashions from ANY time period! The story started brewing a bit and I decided to call them the HG, short for the Humanity Guardians of the Resin World. Elspaith and Wulf were the first characters that sort of wrote themselves for me. Their bios are up in the side bar, and I will be adding more as I flesh out more about the characters.
I hope to share pictures of the various member of the "HG" here, and tell something of their stories as well while I'm at it. Since Wulf and Elspaith are my "anchors" in this storyline/grouping, I thought it only fitting to share photos of them first.
They are a pair that just speak loudly to me when I photograph them together, much like Jamie and Claire from Outlander (they have a blog of their own, linked on the side, although Wulf and Elspaith have been known to inhabit their world at times).
