Background: Liana was born human to an aristocratic family, however her mother, who was her father's second wife, died in childbirth. Upon the untimely death of her father when Liana was just 18 she was turned from her family home, as there was no love lost between her and her half brother. With only the funds her father had hidden away for her, unbeknownst to her step brother. Being well educated, as her father was very forward thinking for his time, she decided to use the funds to move to France and buy a home where she could help other women in unfortunate circumstances. She became one of the most successful "Madame's" of her time helping countless other women...…………….until it was she who needed help...………...enter Zak.
Relationships: She was saved by Zak, and loves him, but doesn't quite know how to make him see that...……….as he believes her feelings are tied up in his saving her while she was human. She is immortal because of him, it is true, but he is wrong about her feelings for him. She works more behind the scenes and when she ventures on an assignment it is typically as "decoration", when it is necessary for Zak (or Vlad on rare occasions) to appear to have a wife.
