Background: One of the original members of the team, she was never human, she was created to be a guardian. She is also one of the strongest members of the team. Elpsaith has exceptional  intuition and strong compassion for the human race.

Relationships:  She is mated to Wulf.  She fell in love with Wulf while on a mission and given his strengths (as well as the fact she was in love with him), she petitioned to have him turned immortal and become a member of the team, so they could remain together forever. Her petition was granted and Wulf has now been a member of the Guardians longer than he was a mortal human.  She has strong relationships with most of other Guardians, although she and Evianna often don't see eye to eye.
